About the opportunity
Join a high-impact AI pod as an AI Solutions Lead, bridging the gap between deep generative AI architecture and business automation. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with enterprise client projects while also collaborating internally with our core team—shaping internal AI platforms and products. You will own solution design, technical architecture, AI governance, and stakeholder relationships, driving AI automation on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Salesforce Agentforce, while also architecting production-grade LLM, RAG, and AI agent platforms.
About our client
Our client specializes in industrial process control and automation technology, helping manufacturers and enterprise operations improve performance through cutting-edge digital transformation, AI innovation, and strong client relationships.
What you'll do
- Dual-Impact Scope (Client & Core Team): Split your impact by leading client-facing AI initiatives and actively collaborating with our internal core team to design, evaluate, and evolve core AI platforms, models, and shared tools.
- Lead Discovery & Architecture: Facilitate discovery with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable AI solutions, intelligent workflows, and low-code applications, delivering clear build specifications to engineering teams.
- Architect AI Systems & Agents: Own the technical direction of AI agent platforms, copilot solutions, and matching/analysis capabilities—evaluating when to apply vector search/RAG versus structured LLM reasoning and custom orchestration.
- Assess Feasibility & Risk: Conduct feasibility, risk, and value assessments for every prototype, proof of concept, and custom AI architecture before executive or client presentation.
- Enforce AI Governance & Security: Apply and enforce cybersecurity, data-governance, privacy, and responsible-AI requirements, including human-in-the-loop review steps and production approval gates.
- Design Evaluation & Testing Standards: Define evaluation frameworks, test cases, and acceptance criteria for LLM output quality, scoring accuracy, reliability, security, and cost before production release.
- Drive Implementation & Standards: Set implementation standards, maintain reusable component libraries, and work hands-on alongside engineers when navigating complex AI codebase decisions.
- Enable Adoption & Growth: Set adoption targets at design time, track usage data, lead user enablement (workshops, demos, office hours), and provide high-level technical guidance across client projects and internal pods.
- Prioritize & Stay Ahead: Keep the backlog aligned by prioritizing bi-weekly with Product Owners, triaging change requests, and tracking Microsoft, Salesforce, and broader Generative AI roadmaps to advise stakeholders on what to adopt, defer, or ignore.
What you bring (must-haves)
- 8+ years delivering enterprise technology solutions, with at least 4 years in a Solution Architecture, AI Architect, Technical Lead, or Lead Consultant role.
- Adaptability for hybrid impact: Comfort moving between client-facing consultative delivery and internal product/core-team collaboration.
- Proven track record architecting production LLM/AI systems, with strong judgment on when RAG/embeddings/vector search is (and isn't) the right tool.
- Deep, hands-on Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), including environment strategy, ALM, and governance at enterprise scale.
- Experience designing and shipping agent/copilot solutions to production in the last 12 to 18 months using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Agentforce, or frameworks like LangChain/LlamaIndex.
- Solid production engineering fundamentals: Hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy), integration fluency (Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Salesforce, ERPs), and full-stack comfort.
- Working understanding of enterprise Generative AI: Grounding, LLM limitations, prompt evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop design.
- Proven experience running discovery and facilitating technical workshops with business and executive stakeholders.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above, verified) for leading weekly client and team sessions.
Bonus points for (nice-to-haves)
- Microsoft or Salesforce certifications (PL-600, PL-400, AI-102, Agentforce Specialist).
- Experience with real-time/voice AI systems (WebRTC, audio streaming APIs).
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or HR/recruiting technology (matching/scoring candidates against criteria).
- IFS ERP experience.
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks or international regulations.
- Prior fractional, advisory, or management consulting delivery experience.
