Accountabilities
- Support the administration and ongoing management of global insurance programs, with a particular focus on Workers’ Compensation insurance.
- Coordinate insurance renewal processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, documentation, negotiations, and follow-up with brokers and insurers.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to collect the information required for insurance placements, renewals, policy administration, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance policies, certificates, claims documentation, and related materials.
- Analyze risk financing options and contribute recommendations designed to balance appropriate coverage with cost efficiency.
- Assist with developing and implementing risk management policies, procedures, and operational processes.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret insurance and risk-management data, identifying trends, potential exposures, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex insurance information into clear business insights.
- Collaborate with internal departments and operating teams to understand and address Workers’ Compensation and broader insurance requirements across multiple countries.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with brokers, insurers, regulatory stakeholders, employees, customers, and other external partners.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable Workers’ Compensation laws, regulations, and industry practices across relevant markets.
- Provide prospects, customers, and their employees with guidance and support regarding Workers’ Compensation coverage, exclusions, and risk-management considerations.
- Maintain documentation related to claims-management procedures and claims outcomes, while collaborating closely with occupational health and safety teams, brokers, and insurers throughout the claims process.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience working in a digital or technology-enabled environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Progressive management experience combined with relevant examiner experience within the Workers’ Compensation insurance industry.
- Experience identifying, onboarding, and/or managing insurance partners, brokers, or similar external service providers.
- Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation insurance, including coverage, claims, risk, and regulatory considerations.
- Ability to quickly establish productive relationships with external employees, vendors, brokers, insurers, and other stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Strong analytical and process-mapping skills, with the ability to understand complex workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing documentation, renewals, claims, and compliance requirements.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while remaining a proactive, collaborative, and positive team member in a globally distributed environment.
- Growth-oriented and solutions-focused mindset, with the flexibility to adapt priorities and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
- Previous experience working remotely is not required but is considered an advantage.
