Software Engineer - Nodejs

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
• Craft client code that is not just efficient, but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
• Actively participate in accurate planning and estimation efforts, utilizing project methods and tools.
• Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients.
• Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
• Promote client success across the team by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate potential problems, and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities.
• Actively participate in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.
• Feature Development & Delivery: Code and ship user-facing and operator capability blocks across Phase 1 releases, spanning family onboarding pipelines, coach roster views, match attendance sheets, and club admin dashboards.
• Declarative Component Implementation: Translate centralized design tokens and high-resolution wireframe assets into pixel-perfect layouts within platform-specific component libraries (Responsive Web, iOS, or Android layouts).
• Notification Flow Engineering: Implement idempotent reminder triggers and event-driven scheduled tasks that track delivery receipts down to individual communication channels (Push, SMS, WhatsApp) without duplication.
• Local Action Management: Build client-side view models that queue user mutations using unique idempotency keys, securing stable operational behavior when field connectivity is degraded.
• Context Optimization: Maintain accurate metadata records of project modifications, updating technical artifact contexts and repository documentation as new features are integrated.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas specified below:
  • Expertise in NodeJs (primary), React, React Native, mobile app experience, Docker, Postgres.
  • Proven experience in developing microservices and local environment setup.
  • Proven track record of Design, development and implementation of React UI/.Net based large volume, high availability enterprise applications.
  • Experience on exception handling, correct use of data structures, multi-threaded programming, memory management and application tuning.
  • Strong NodeJs (Typescript, Express Framework, type-orm, class-validator) based microservices development.
  • Must have excellent exposure in Unit Testing by jest.
  • Good knowledge in design patterns.
  • Good hands-on experience with RDBMS like Oracle/SQLServer & have ability to write data structures, basic SQL Queries & knowledge of joins, Views, Group By, Having Clause etc.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation).
  • High-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate.
  • Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.
  • Practice and initiative mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.
  • Good understanding of SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with OWASP.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
