Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and regression suites to ensure strong coverage across core functionalities and edge cases.
- Perform hands-on manual testing across multiple browsers, devices, and user scenarios to validate new releases, product updates, and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document software defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Maintain organized QA documentation, including test reports, release validation summaries, defect logs, and regression testing records.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure QA involvement throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Partner with product, engineering, and customer support teams to prioritize issues based on user impact and business needs.
- Conduct regression and release validation testing to ensure product stability, reliability, and readiness before deployment.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA workflows, testing efficiency, communication processes, and overall product quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in manual quality assurance testing, particularly focused on web-based applications and user-facing products.
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning, exploratory testing, regression testing, defect reporting, and test case design.
- Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, and support teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to isolate root causes and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting defects, test cases, and QA reports clearly and accurately.
- Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or similar platforms.
- Experience using browser developer tools for debugging and issue investigation.
- Nice-to-have experience with accessibility testing, WCAG guidelines, API validation tools such as Postman, or exposure to test automation frameworks.
- Interest or familiarity with AI technologies, voice products, text-to-speech platforms, or audio-based applications is considered a strong advantage.
