Accountabilities:
- Lead and scale a global engineering organization across the United States, India, and Latin America, ensuring alignment, consistency, and strong execution across all teams.
- Design and evolve a multi-layered engineering structure, mentoring directors and engineering managers to support organizational growth and delivery excellence.
- Build and scale hiring systems, including partnerships with recruiting teams, to attract and retain top engineering talent aligned with modern development practices.
- Establish strong talent development frameworks, including performance management, career progression paths, and leadership coaching across all levels.
- Drive operational excellence through robust CI/CD pipelines, security practices, and performance monitoring across distributed systems.
- Champion engineering efficiency by promoting continuous improvement practices, including adoption of modern AI-enabled development tools.
- Ensure strong technical alignment across engineering, architecture, product, and executive stakeholders on system design and roadmap priorities.
- Maintain high standards of execution, delivery quality, and organizational scalability in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5+ years in senior leadership roles (VP or senior Director level).
- Proven experience leading and scaling large, distributed engineering organizations across multiple geographies.
- Strong background managing engineering teams in India and Latin America, with sensitivity to global team dynamics and culture.
- Experience building enterprise SaaS or highly configurable software platforms with systems integration and professional services components.
- Deep understanding of modern cloud architectures (AWS), distributed systems, and web technologies such as TypeScript and React.
- Demonstrated ability to align engineering execution with product strategy and business outcomes in complex environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence executives and inspire engineering teams.
- Experience guiding organizations through rapid growth, transformation, and scaling phases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Startup or high-growth company experience with an agile, adaptable mindset is essential.
