Full-Stack Software Engineer - OpenData

What You'll Do

• Build the Core Product: Design and build APIs, business logic, and user interfaces.
• Empower internal users and customers: Develop clear and intuitive front-end interfaces in TypeScript for our services teams and customers guiding them through record linkage exercises.
• Shape the Product's Future: Take a leading role in architectural decisions, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Drive Quality: Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence by improving our CI/CD workflows and applying testing best practices.

Requirements

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on building data-intensive applications or products.
• Full-Stack Proficiency: Expertise in building applications using Python to build backend APIs and TypeScript for the front-end.
• Advanced SQL & Data Expertise: A deep understanding of relational databases and expertise in applying advanced SQL to solve complex data manipulation.
• Collaborative Mindset: A proactive and collaborative approach to your work and clear communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Product-Oriented Skills: Experience working closely with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical solutions and contribute to the product roadmap.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, or related tools.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and deploying applications to cloud environments (AWS).
